The Author

Norman was born and bred in Sydney.

He entered his formative teenage years just as the dance party scene reached its zenith in Sydney in the late 80s, with one of the most popular venues, the Hordern Pavilion, literally walking distance from his home (which came in handy more than once). Known by the initiated as ‘Club Hordern’, this venue became the home of Sydney’s underground party scene and is the backdrop of his first novel.

Having survived the party years, Norman became a marketing professional for some of Australia’s best-known brands. Recently he decided to pursue a creative career direction and he completed a Diploma of Graphic Design and now works as a communications specialist, while writing the sequel to his first book.

Norman still lives in Sydney’s east, but now with his loving partner of 18 years Stephen, as they wait for marriage equality be legalised in Australia.
